who live by the well called Urdarbrunnur

lying at the feet of the tree Yggdrasil.

They water the tree each day from this well

They spin, weave, and cut the thread of each life.

They are Fate, Present and Future

De Bron van Urd of Urðarbrunnr is in de Noordse mythologie een bron in de wereld Asgaard.

Nabij de bron bevinden zich de drie Nornen (Nornir), de drie noodlotsgodinnen Urd, Verdandi en Skuld. De bron ligt aan de voet van Yggdrasil.

Dit is een middeleeuws tasje die ik een tijdje geleden ontworpen heb, passend met de Troubadour  armverwarmers en beret. Door allerlei, ingewikkelde, omstandigheden heb ik deze patronen nog niet kunnen aanbieden maar dat komt later wel, zeker weten, alleen ik weet nog niet wanneer.

It’s a medieval pouch I designed a while ago to match my Troubadour beret and gauntlets,  but due to circumstances  I didn’t publish the patterns yet. But I will, in a while…
